Private 75 minute yoga lesson from teacher with 20 year's experience at St Michael’s Church, Barnes.

Valeria Zilkha was born in Brazil, raised in a free and natural farm environment; England has been her home for the past 25 years. 20 years ago Valeria attended her first Astanga yoga class in the Island of Maui with Nancy Gilgoff, a teacher with a style and touch that came directly from Pattabhi Jois. Once back home, she continued practicing Astanga Yoga as well as attending weekend workshops across the country. In 1999 as Valeria deepened her studies, the need for precision and alignment led her to attend an Iyengar workshop in Bournemouth, held by Teacher Faeq Biria, Mr Iyengar’s foremost disciple. That weekend Valeria decided she was going to delve more into the discipline of Iyengar practice.

Valeria attended Faeq Ibiria teaching programme in France, practicing 7 hours of Yoga daily made Valeria realizes that Yoga was much more than she ever thought, it has led her to different fields of interest, such as nutrition, health, Cellular Body Healing to name a few. Back in London she continued her learning with Teacher Maxine Tobias.

Through her journey Valeria found her passion for teaching, the combination of the vibrancy of Astanga with the precision of Iyengar and her gifted intuition as how to optimize ones body mind and soul makes Valeria a unique teacher.
